If in doubt, always go up a size. All Lil' Boo Sweatshirts, T-shirts and Rugbyshirts look awesome oversize as well.  

Double sizing

We do double sizing in all tops to give the garments as longer living time with its new owner. 

Double sizes mean that if the child is at the lower end of the two sizes the shirt will have a longer and slightly looser fit and the sleeves may need to be folded – if the child is at the higher range it will have a normal length and normal/slimmer fit. 

Lil' Boo cap sizes 

• Size XS - fits 44 - 46 cm (17 - 18 inches): Optimal fit - ages 4 months to 9 months. 
• Size S - fits 46 - 48cm (18 - 19 inches): Optimal fit - ages 9 months to 18 months. 
• Size M - fits 49 - 51cm (19 - 20 inches): Optimal fit - ages 18 months to 3 years. 
• Size L - fits 52-55cm (20-21.5 inches): Optimal fit - ages 3 years to 7 years.
• Size XL - fits 56-58cm (22-22.8 inches): Optimal fit 7-12y to adults. 

We specialise in making caps - so we want to do everything we can for you to get the correct fit. As such, please note any reference to age is from information based on world averages and is guidance only. If in doubt or your child is at the top end of the circumference range, always go up a size. 

Please notice that 5-panels have a more shallow fit and therefore sit higher on the head. Go up a size if you want a deeper fit. 

As all babies and children are different, and grow at different rates, it is best to always measure your child's head before you buy a cap to ensure it has the perfect fit. 

How to measure 

Measure the head just above the top of the ears and midway on the occipital bone (that little bump in the middle of the back of the head).
